So.

My father just decided to hand me a beer.

I was like "... okay." So I took a drink.

Then he pulled out another one for himself. I was like "Wait... what?"

He was letting me have the whole thing to myself.

I was like "Um... no. Please no." So he put the other one up and offered to pour some in a glass for me. So I was like "Okay..." and made him stop after like 4 oz. I tried to drink it... after about three gulps I was shivering every time I tried to drink it. I made him drink the rest.

I DON'T THINK I WILL EVER UNDERSTAND THIS DRINKING THING. GROSS. NOW I FEEL SICK. GIVE ME MY SODA POP, I AM FIVE YEARS OLD, I DO NOT WANT ALCOHOLS. ):

Not a big Heineken fan either, tbh, though I'm told that beer in general is an acquired taste (and there may be truth to this as I know many people who swore up and down they hated it and then 'changed their minds' later). Guinness is really the only beer I drink and enjoy drinking... but then that's all we have around my house and I've been having sips of it since I was a kid, so the whole 'acquired taste' thing might factor into that as well. Generally speaking, it's straight vodka for me, and I know most people don't like that.

I'm also told that girls tend to like fruity drinks/cocktails more. IDK; I hate them. It's like drinking liquid candy and it makes my stomach hurt.

Rofl, this reminds me of my post about my 21st birthday when my main comment about alcohol was "THE RUM CAN STAY GONE." I hate alcohol. It's disgusting. And also, I can TOTALLY taste it in fruity drinks, so don't get your hopes up that you'll like those, IMO. I love them virgin, but I can taste the slightest bit of alcohol and I'm like GET IT AWAY D=.

it all depends on the quality. most people don't drink very good beer :B i like dogfish head myself. there's also a type of fruit beer called lambic which is actually really good.

but most beer is bitter or, even worse, just nasty.

Nobody likes beer on the first try but you'll get used to it XD it also depends on the brand. But yeah there are better alcoholic choices. Personally I hate soda pops :| pure water (non mineral) or tea for me plz

Yech, beer. I hates it too. The only point to aquiring that taste is because it's cheap (compared to other alcohol.)

I find that Fruity vodka drinks are still too alcohol-tasting to me, so it's best to get fruity drinks that are rum based or liqour based. Thus Pina Colada's and Strawberry Daiquiri's are delicious!

I want to try a Mojito! It's Lime, Rum, Mint, and Sugar Cane.

Hahaha. I just realised the loveliness that is beer when I was 18. And I was drinking since I was 15 .
Beer is great, in my opinion, it really depends on what beer! Heineken is like... diluted piss water so it's not your fault for not liking it. :D German beer is so, so, sosoSO good, yummm. Mmm, beer.

B-b-but beer is the most delicious thing EVER! Hahah, my immediate reaction was to be sad that you can't enjoy the great deliciousness. :P To me, it's just so much more refreshing than other kinds of alcohol. To each her own, of course, but...Teh Beer is delicious, and it wants you to love and cherish it.
