So here I am, in Canadia. Terri is doing something for one of her classes right now in this last 20 mins before class, so I thought I'd follow her to the computer lab and hop on.
So far its been fun. Canada is not all that different from the US- the only thing that's different is, of course, the metric system, the way you tell the temperature, and money. All pretty obvious, lol. Nobody knows good quality air conditioning here though, lol. I was getting irritated. And, of course, nobody north of like, Virginia puts ice in their drinks. Heathens!!
Today is my first day at Sheridan- I would have made journal entries previous to this, but until today, I had been at Terri's house, so there was not access to a computer. Sunday we ran around trying to shop for different things but pretty much bought absolutely nothing, lol. Everything in Canada is heniously expensive when you take into account the fact that we had to pay $200 USD to get $190 CAD. Blah. :P On Sunday night, we went to Terri's aunt's house and had thanksgiving dinner, which was really good- I was afraid I might not like many of the dishes being served, but I was wrong- it was a lot like thanksgiving at home, which is sweet. (:
On Monday, Terri, Dustin (her boyfriend), her brother/his wife and I went to visit a park. We hiked like, forever, which nearly killed me, lol, so much humidity. I had prepared at all- we walked like three miles, and my shoes were pretty much shit afterwards... we didn't bring water either, lol, so I was really cranky and sarcastic. I think Paul (her brother) wanted to like, bitch-slap me. XD
Today, we are at school. Finally. LOL. So far, I like it pretty well. In the first class (lecture), there was a huge uprising about the collective 3rd year class having WAY TOO MUCH HOMEWORK, lol, so that was pretty interesting to watch. Terri was like "I'm embarrassed. ^^;" and I was like "I'm interested. XD" LOL. They say that this year's 3rd year class is kind of a guinea pig thing anyway, so hopefully, by the time I'm in 3rd year, things will be better.
I do miss home a bit. I definitely miss my mom and dad, and even my brother. I also REALLY MISS HOLLY. <33333 Dude, I've been wanting to call you for days, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it without me being a bitch, since I had been using Terri's parents' phone til last night, and last night, Dustin was like "I need it for a project!" I was like Aaauuuuggggghhh, lol. I totally almost texted you last night. I hope you're doing okaaaaayyy. I've been hugging my wobby every night... I just want you to know that, yes, I've been having a pretty good time, but I still miss you like crazy! Next year, when I finally get here, you HAVE to room with me. I'll be depressed without you! ^^; You must come to live with teh meeeeee. ): Luv youuu. I'll figure out if I can contact you or not in the following days here. Mwee.
Anyhow, we're about to have to leave to go to Terri's next class, so I should prolly shut up. I might get another chance or two to update during the week, so yeah. Til then.
