Hey, my journal. Let me show you it.

So, um... yeah, I haven't updated in a while. To be honest, til recently, I was so behind on things that I didn't really feel like I 'deserved' to update. Whatever that means, lol.

So anyway. Things have been alright. The break has been nice- Holly flew down to visit the week of the 17th-24th, and I still haven't quite recovered from her suddenly leaving me, lol. DDD: We try to talk every day, though, so I guess there is at least that. *nods*

I got a lot of nice Christmas gifts... including a nice 22 inch flat screen monitor, woop woop! My screen is huuuuuge and now every time I look at other computers, I'm always like "omfg this thing is so little!!" LOL. X3

I've been working on my Sheridan portfolio pretty diligently. I have my character design assignments all finished, as well as my hand drawings. I plan to do the household objects assignments tonight, if I'm still awake... damnit, I was tired last night, so I went to be early, but of course, then I had trouble STAYING asleep, so I somehow still managed to not get enough sleep last night. Fuck all, will the sleepiness EVER leave?!

Classes start up again on Monday... I'm only taking one this semester, and that is life drawing. Did I mention I didn't have to pay for it? LOL, I'm not taking band this semester at all, but for some reason, a mysterious music scholarship took away the $339 I was going to have to pay to take life drawing. I was like "YEEEESSSSS." LOL. The payment deadline already passed, too, so I'm in the clear. <3

I got a call from Sheridan's international office this morning- I tried e-mailing them a few days ago, and for some reason, the lady could not e-mail me back (wtf, her e-mails kept getting sent back to her... but I've been getting e-mails all day! My e-mail is fine and doesn't have any kind of filter on it at all. @__@). And of course I didn't realize I had been called at 10 this morning til ten minutes ago, lol. My e-mail, though- I was concerned about them getting my application and stuff... but you know, I started thinking, and... I didn't send my phone number in the e-mail at all. Which means that, only knowing my first and last name... my info has to be in the database, right? I mean, it took her like three days to respond, so maybe she was like "Well. I've tried everything, maybe if I look for the app... oh hey, here's a phone number!" That would be nice. Also, I filled out that application in October- perhaps I wrote "@comcast.com" instead of "@comcast.net" since my e-mail wasn't scheduled to 'change' until December... She did say comcast.com in the voicemail she left... that's probably it. Anyway, I called them back, and I was like "Um... I guess I'll try back tomorrow." LOL, it's Saturday tomorrow. Make that Monday. *facepalm for stupidity*

Anyway, I'm really really anxious now, lol, that's the first time Sheridan has ever tried to contact me, so I'm all "ASDISDWESDKJSD" now. I really hope my application has been processed!! That would make me happy and stuff. <3

Anyway, that is all. I'm going to go annoy my parents and see if we can go out tonight. Seriously, I have been at home all week and I am going nuts.
