Okay, so, tomorrow, I am going to call a local t-shirt shop about asking for a job. I was going to just walk in with my portfolio and resume, but then I thought, that might be a little rude and they might be busy; I think I should call ahead and ask about getting a job there.

My question to you guys is... what should I say over the phone? The place is local and in the neighborhood across from mine- the only thing they have on the internet is a phone number and an address; no webpage or store hours or anything. The place is pretty well renowned in the neighborhood- designs like, EVERYTHING for my old highschool and all of the schools underneath it in the district, as well as shirts for the little league in the area- not to mention all of the schools and organizations and little league things across the beltway in Channelview, where the place is actually situated. The place is a vendor for my old high school, and I think I have a real chance for them, because people from my school have been hiring me on for a lot of graphic design jobs, which means they've been missing out. If they hired me on, I would no longer be occasional competition, but part of the team.

But yeah, since the place has NO status online whatsoever, I have no idea what to say over the phone. I'd like to plan it out and write down everything before I call, because I am EXTREMELY nervous over the phone and have been known to make a stuttering ass out of myself because of it. I need to be able to ask them if they would consider hiring somebody else on as a designer, and if yes, may I set up a time to show them my portfolio and resume- keep in mind the credits to my name I just mentioned, as well as the fact that I just graduated with an associates degree in art. ANYTHING you guys more experienced with landing jobs can tell me to say would be totally golden. Thank you so much.

1. We both know that you're a Gryffinclaw. Or Ravendor. However you want to say it, that's what you are. However, if you had to choose between one of the other two CANON houses, what would it be?
That's so easy- Slytherin. Honestly, what house I am more gravitated towards depends on the day. Some days I am just a whole lot louder and well... stupider than others, lol, those are my Gryffindor days. But there are definitely Slytherin days too. I can definitely be manipulative and sneaky, and it's no lie that I'm selfish, too. I'm already pretty driven and definitely ambitious about getting a nice animation job. I'd love some name recognition. And pretty much anyone that hangs around with me long enough knows I'm snarky and sarcastic. ;D

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
California, I think. Though the living expenses are high, California is, in my opinion, the most progressive of the fifty states. There are lots of laws protecting the GLBT people of California, which I find very important. Also, they just, in general, seem to be more conscious about the earth and issues. ALSO, there are plenty of animation jobs there, as well as looots of coastline- I love the beach and the city equally, so I think I could get the best of both worlds, living in Cali.

3. What do you love most about your hometown? Subsequently, what do you like the least?
Um... I love that my family is here. Honestly, I've sat here thinking, and I like it alright, but aside from my family, I can't imagine a reason I'd ever come back... if they ever move, I probably won't EVER come back. What I like least... is probably how rundown its become. There is absolutely nothing to do in my neighborhood because the people here just run good things into the ground and can't afford to shop at stores that cost more than like, the 99 cent store, Wal Mart, and Ross. Despite living in a really overpopulated neighborhood, I have to drive at least 20 minutes (and pay a fucking toll!) to get ANYWHERE worth going, and that's irritating.

4. If you had the opportunity to meet John Mayer OR JKR, who would you choose?
Ah shit, both have had work that's brought me to tears! If I haaaad to pick, I guess I'd say John. The only two famous people I really want to meet before I die are John and Tim Burton. John is amazing and witty, but at the same time, he's just so full of crap- it's hilarious, I could really enjoy hanging out with him. I've always felt like he's a long lost friend or something. But also, just the opportunity to thank him for all of the inspiration and magic moments I've had because of his music... DAMN there is not an experience in this world that compares to sitting 6th row in Baton Rouge last January... sigh.

5. Obama or Clinton?
Haha shit, I don't pay attention to politics... at all at all at all. Seriously; I never have. I 'm not registered to vote and I don't care. XD; So I really could not tell you my answer, because I don't have one!
