I'm not sure if I should be creeped out or thankful.
A few weeks ago, I discovered that the lack of contrast in the images I was posting on the internet had nothing to do with Photoshop and everything to do with Firefox. Its been washing my saved images out, right? I compare things between Safari and Firefox, and everything looks different... which wouldn't be such a big deal, except for the fact that I create art, and the level on contrast is SUPER IMPORTANT IN THE FINAL PRODUCT, LOL.
Here is a screenshot to show you what I'm talking about. Safari is on the left (that's how the image looked in Photoshop), Firefox is on the right.
Anyway, a few weeks ago, I was mad about it, so I made a tweet in twitter that said "I really wish my firefox didn't wash out colors so badly... wtf."
Today, I get a reply from a twitter user called "getsatisfaction." It linked me to
this page, saying that a Mozilla Staff Member had responded to my "complaint."
... what? They're stalking tweets that mention firefox now? ... I don't know whether to feel like, violated, or extremely thankful and impressed that they're so concerned with being the best browser/having great customer service that I no longer have to even FILE complaints- I simply have to bitch about them using their name on twitter in passing, rotfl. Either way, I responded back with my screenshot, so I guess we'll see what they say about it, heh. :P
Just a note to all you twitter folks: Don't ever say "firefox" unless you want strange Mozilla people stalking your tweets. LOL.
