I just missed the lab part of biology.

AGAIN.

God, what, is this the third time out of 4 total times we've had lab? UUUGGGHHHHH. I need this damn class at a better TIME- there are too many x factors for 7:30 in the morning. If I can DEFROST my CAR in time, then I have to sit through early morning traffic. If I can GET THROUGH TRAFFIC, then I have to find a parking spot (which happened to be impossible this morning, hurrah). And my gay-bitch professor (I love gay people, but this guy is a bitch, so I don't like him, lol) locks the damn door at exactly 7:30 AM, a practice which like NO OTHER TEACHER I'VE HAD AT THAT CAMPUS BEFORE has used (and I have like 37 hours of credit at San Jac!!!). If it was a time of day without traffic and crap, I could understand, but uuuuggghh.

I just ended up driving through the parking lot and coming back home. I was so mad I was about to cry, but you know, then I was like "... withdraw." I mean, I had a friend in one of my art classes last semester that WARNED ME not to take this guy's class (I mean, not only all of that other stuff which will be blamed on me, but the fact that his teaching style is REALLY annoying and when he gets into complicated stuff in lecture, I'm like "Whaaat?"). She said "Oh, take Mrs. ___! She's great!" And you know, I was like "Eh, I've survived all kinds of stuff, I'll be fine." But last Monday... our professor was gone, and she actually subbed for us. I LOVED her. LOL it made me hate my professor even more. Also, the friend of mine in the art class told me that it's a better idea to take Bio I in the summer, and Bio II during the semester. Didn't listen THERE either, did I?

So yeah, I think I'm withdrawing. LOL, this is the crap. I'll take it during the summer.

[ EDIT: Well CRAP. I can't drop bio cuz then I'll be one hour under 12, and my parents'll have to drop me from the taxes. UGH LIFE STOP SUCKING PLEASE. ]

At my school, there are classes that only run the second 8 weeks, and most of them are for one credit hour. Does your school have those? They've saved my ass from things like that SOOOOO many times. . .

You know, I don't even know...! I know that a couple of the classes I already have are 1 hour credits (like band and my private lessons, two separate hours there). But at my school's website (http://www.sjcd.edu/index.html), I don't really know what to look for that would be just an hour. Also, I'm not really sure if there are 8 week classes like you say- my school's a Jr. College (albeit a HEAVILY ADVERTISED one in the area, lol), so they may not...

What kind of one hour classes did you take? Just to give me an idea.

Email your advisor--or some other clued-in person that would probably know. I was lucky that my advisor was the nicest person in all of life, so I always went crying to him with such problems. ^_^ Is it too late to register for a full-semester one-hour class, if you can find one? That might work, too. In fact, even if it's too late, it would probably be worth it to go ask the professor if you can do a late add. A lot of times they let you, at my school.

I took soooo many things. . . my favorite was a class that was just a dialogue once a week about race. There was also this really weird class Jon and I took about the etymology of Russian names--I don't think anybody in the entire class took it for their major; they just needed credit hours. One was about colonialism in film and literature. One was a lecture on hearing and deaf issues, which was long but actually really interesting. Also, a lot of the classes were things like Ice Skating, which I couldn't take because my feet are on crooked, and bowling and stuff--so people took those a lot.

LOL, at first glance, all I saw was "Ahh, zee Bendorf."

THERE ARE NO FIRST PERIOD PASSES IN COLLEGE! ): Just really snotty gay biology professors with a penis stick up their butt. No neck rods, though. Haha. <3
