Here's a new list, lol. Books I tried to give an honest chance to but gave up on due to crappiness.
Lame Books:
Stuck in the 70's by D.L. Garfinkle. I can juuuust tolerate books written from a high school point of view if the character in question is a nerd, or an outcast, or simply somebody who can UNDERSTAND that highschool is not the end all, be all of existence. While this book SORT OF had a character like that (although he was always like "OMG LOL PRETTY GIRL, I HAS A PENIS"), it switched points of view to the girl too often, and she was just a complete evil bitch bimbo. I gave up after about five short chapters, because I didn't see the point in reading about a character that made me want to headdesk so bad, "good" endings be damned.
